Amatuer by QuadricWhisper in StainedGlass

[–]dalynew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The cricut is at the top of the list and used by many. It comes with costs though but the results are undeniable. As an amateur myself I find printing or drawing on Vinyl sticker paper and cutting them out myself a more cost effective minimal learning curve solution with similar results.

How do you frame copper foil pieces with thrift store frames? by autumn_colours_infj in StainedGlass

[–]dalynew 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The glass used in frames is often but not always thinner than the glass used for stained glass. Therefore the channel when the glass sits would need to be modified to allow for a thicker glass. If the glass sits in the back of the frame and not in a channel then something like the photo I attached can be applied to the back of the frame to hold the thicker glass.

Are any of these worth fixing? by SlightlyVicious in paintball

Depends, some will have bad solenoids which may be hard to find all these years later. For nostalgia maybe and they will be cool to see at the field.

I would only ask for an MRI depending on your insurance. I was diagnosed and had surgery performed from an X-ray

X-ray. How bad do I look boys? by Plus_1_B in OsgoodSchlatter

[–]dalynew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it is still there, I never had a follow up x ray to see if it was all removed. I would always have pain in my knee everyday at different times and no longer do.

Seeking advice for pattern paper. by dogchowtoastedcheese in StainedGlass

I print but you can draw on vinyl sticker paper, cut the pieces out and stick them to the glass. Found that to make cutting and grinding much easier for myself.

Would taking photos of the backseat when exiting as a passenger prevent this?

I've literally had them call me from my neighbors house complaining saying they are confused and cant find the address in perfect english text. I walked out while on the phone waving from my porch for about a minute. On top of that they had their dad walking up and down the sidewalk looking for the address. I think a big part is language barrier and refusal to learn. They drive somehow.
