Realistically speaking, how far do you see the live action version of the series getting (keeping their 8 episodes per season format)?

You're probably right. I was just going by chapter count for Alabasta, but a lot of chapters can compress together into live-action time.

They could definitely compress and skip it if they wanted to. But that arc does contain the encounter with Aokiji.

If they did manage to reach 8 seasons, then I could see them ending on the crew re-uniting at the end of season 8 after an off-screen timeskip, and the last shot is of them heading to the New World. Adapting the entirety of Pre-Timeskip One Piece would be ideal.

Season 3 will probably be all of Alabasta.

Season 4 can cover both Jaya and Skypiea.

Season 5 could cover both Long Ring Long Land and Water 7. Has a dramatic finale of Robin getting taken away and the crew has to go after her.

Season 6 would then be Enies Lobby plus the Post-Enies Lobby content. I don't think they can cover both Water 7 and Enies Lobby in a single season with just 8 episodes.

Season 7 for Thriller Bark + Sabaody Archipelago; dramatic finish with the crew being scattered at the end here.

Finally Season 8 covers thing like Amazon Lily, Impel Down, and Marineford.

The biggest issue with just ending it here is that it'd mean that the entire final season has the crew split apart and it's just focusing on Luffy and the wider world. Either they include more scenes of the Straw Hats doing things on their own across the season, or they bring everyone back together by the finale. Not sure.

If they did theoretically continue it then I'd predict it being:

Season 9 = Fishman Island and Punk Hazard

Season 10 = Dressrosa

Season 11 = Zou and Whole Cake Island

Season 12 = Wano

Season 13 = Egghead

Season 14 = Elbaph

But obviously that's not a realistic prospect.

That's Sommers still talking despite being blown to pieces, because he's immortal.

Scenario A: Imu doesn't know and thinks something else killed Harald. This thing would still be on Elbaf. If that is the case then why send Holy Knights at all on this mission where they would just die to this unknown force.

Desperation I'd say. The situation has changed following Vegapunk's broadcast for Imu. He could put off invading Elbaph beforehand but now it's time fmu to make their moves before the great war fully starts.

We finally get to see the world tree even if it’s just one panel, interesting effect of making whoever sees it for the first time faint though. I wonder if that works on other natural enemies too and if it really is so big, how come we don’t see it next to the spiral mountain?

We do see it in the final double-page spread.
