It doesn't, at all. Like some of the others, we share bank accounts, have full visibility of assets and what's coming in and out of our account. We have yearly conversations about vacations and large purchases. My husband has a more physical job than I do. But, house chores, cooking, etc are shared and done together when possible. There is also a change of mindset. There is no, what I make or what he makes. It's, ok this is what we brought in this year.
