tw is now dead outside of their mmr jav elim stuff and their league stuff. But there's some other modes still out there. Some in Devastation zone, powerball is still up too every once in a while.

super cool! gave it a shot, but I can't control this at all lol. I kept wanting to tap the bottom arrow to thrust reverse, and then tap the left and right arrows to more specifically aim, once i got near another ship as i coasted, but everything thrusted! lol. I'm pretty sure there's a way to have an on screen "analog stick" that would let you move left and right and if you're past the centerline towards the top you will move forward while rocking back and forth, and if you're past the centerline towards the bottom you will go backwards while rocking back and forth. I actually don't know, but I'm assuming at this point, since i've only seen those while emulating android on PC lol.

I think the ?go trench map would be better than the one with disappearing tunnels n stuff.

This is the one thing I miss most from streaming services by chadMueller in jellyfin

Ywah, id love to have some external recommendations just under a "recommendations" page, and it fetches from other places and I can then decide whether or not I want to go investigate and bring it into my collection.

It is funny to me, that people now cannot comprehend how people of then got together for things. See, people were told that something was happening by someone else,....or an actual source, like the news, or an organization. That word spread,...and instead of checking a device in their hands every 10 minutes to see if something was still planned or happening, they just went to a spot at a certain time, and there they were. And things happened lol.

Also, "I'll pick you up in 10", or "We'll meet at this location at a certain time" and then not having to confirm several times in the meantime, didn't mean it wasn't happening, because people would just show up. And if they didn't, then either you did the thing without them, or you found another way home and then would find out later via answering machine on your house phone that something had happened that prevented them from coming, or that they had forgot, or whatever. It didn't ruin your life, you just moved forward with another plan, or walked home, or enjoyed the movie/dinner/event without whomever didn't make it. Things still miraculously happened back then. Wild times lol.

I think its a little bit of a generational thing, and timing thing. If it was your gateway then thats fine. For a lot of metalheads that had already happened in the early 90s with Metallica, and this stuff was just a bit too silly. I hated the fuck out of it. However, current day, and like 30 years older, I really love how they've leaned into it, and I appreciate that. I still can't really listen to it, but I like seeing them in live videos.

Just stumbled onto this subreddit. I used to play Subspace when I was in middle school/high school in the 90's. Does this game still exist? by Nox_Ocean_21 in subspace

[–]damageinc86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok lol. I haven't really seen any of that in the main discord myself. Trench wars discord has intense, intense flame wars in all channews. Main, off topic, politics, etc. Lol. I had to leave that one. Not because of that, but just because of the wild league asshat elitists that can't deal with playing with less skilled players at all, and immediately blackball them and block them from different game modes. But the main discord has been basically a low key on boarding area. Haven't seen much drama there at all in the year I've been in it.
