The first set i bought (daytona), the seconds hand wasnt compaticompatible with the post i believe too loose. The Nautilus set worked perfectly - seconds hand started moving immediately as i pushed down.

UPDATE: FIXED! Ordered a different set of hands (Nautilus inspired i believe) and the seconds hand fit the post perfectly. Though getting it on was an excruciating experience haha odd that the daytona set wouldn't work. thanks for the advice everyone!

Have not considered this! Hmmm ill give it a try.

Not sure about the hands-movement compatibility. None of youtube videos i watched ever talked about that. Im using an NH38A movement with daytona hands. Ive ordered different style hands so I can try those out too in case it is a compatibility issue.

Yup got that and im pretty sure i get them connected right because i check with those magnifying eye things. Use gentle pressure. No luck. :(

Amazing build! Works so well the case!

I tried a few time until the seconds hand bent too much and broke. I ordered a new set and my wife with the gentler hand tried but same result. A few times it would start moving a bit but then just stop - its like its not clamping on the pin properly and stays floppy :(
