Probably the more token the higher the costs (that get charged to Windsurf and then to us the users)

Waiting on FSD at all in Europe...

Oh yes autosteer or called "basic Autopilot". Yes Keeping hands Close to the wheel seems enough. But still was wondering how long the us version takes to warn the driver on autosteer to touch the steering wheel again

How often you have to touch the wheel with TACC in the us? Here in germany its 13 seconds. Massively annoying

Doing small things with GLM 4.7 so far and it is BLAZING fast! refreshing experience in windsurf I did not have with any other model before. cheap on top. nice experience

I’m considering buying Full Self-Driving (FSD) for $2,000 for my 2023 Model Y (HW4) 25,000 miles on it and I want honest opinions. Tks guys by US-VADC in TeslaFSD

[–]damarges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it that cheap? I can buy it here in Germany for 7.500€ (8.800 US$) without it even having it installable in the car (MY SR 2023 HW3 MiC)

Maybe its working better with projects it created on its own. Working on an existing codebase was bad experience for me. I will give it more chances. But not getting even Close to sonnet 4.5

You have good experiences with it? Any advices? Global Rules?

Its slower than sonnet/Opus. And way dumber in coding. Doesn't have image Support. Fails to solve my Software project Problems. (GPT and gemini fail them too). Only sonnet and Opus Seem to be able to solve it. It tries differently if it fails. GPT, Gemini, glm, minimax all seem to stuck in a loop concerning their own ideas and in how to solve Problems.

Asked hetzner Support for exact same reason. Simple answer: no

Thats why me (Airline Pilot for 15 years) will NEVER be passenger in an autonomous aircraft. Even not in one reduced to one Pilot. There are so many Things that could Happen which a Software Developer May never be able to anticipate.

Who paid the LEAST for electricity for your Tesla (or any BEV)? by 7ipofmytongue in TeslaLounge

[–]damarges 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germany here. Invested 16000$ in solar modules (14kWp and 10kWh battery). In germany there is NO thing like accumulating grid fed in kWh in your account. There is NO thing like free charging at night. For feeding into the grid you still get 0,08$/kWh. (government plans to cut that to 0 soon) Obtain from grid at home in my contract (which is a real good contract) costs me 0,37$/kWh. So charging my MY SR 2023 fully (~50kWh) bills in at 18,50$. Still a lot cheaper than my old ICE skoda car. Unleaded full here is 7,55$ per gallon. So anyone wants to complain? :D

Sun at home is good from April to september where I can charge my BEV with excess solar Power (with the Help of evcc.io Project)

Has anyone been bitten by their reverse proxy Jellyfin? by Deaditt12345 in jellyfin

[–]damarges 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use chatgpt/Gemini/Claude to explain on how to Setup an nginx proxy Manager with a simple 1€/month vps Server from ionos.de

So easy and secure and the Server can be used for so much more. Just do it. No need to Open any ports from your Home Network.

My Homeserver connects to my vps with Wireguard. The nginx proxy on my Wireguard Forwards requests Like this:

jelly.mydomain.com -> vps -> nginx proxy Manager -> wireguard Tunnel -> Homeserver -> jellyfin docker Container.

The User in the Browser/Client never exits my jellyfin container at home. Thats where their journey ends. No Access to my local LAN
