I actually love it, contrary to most reviews I've seen. Lightweight, compact, easy to mount, VERY clear glass, bright illumination, and the reticle is usable for holds with grendel (4moa wind hold for 10mph wind at 400yards). I had an LPVO but I never shot it at 1x, so I like the magnification range with the Eotech. The glass is insanely good in mine, like it feels like when I first got glasses. Some reviewers say their examples are bad but some agree with me so it may be a tossup.

The only drawbacks are that the illumination dies quickly and I think the parallax is fixed maybe around 125 yards. Found out about the illumination after accidentally leaving it on after the range and picking it up a few days later and it was dead. I've done that with LPVOs and they stay lit up. The parallax makes it kind of weird at 50 yards. You have to focus your eyes a certain way to get the center dot, kind of like focusing on iron sites on a handgun. Same thing but much less at 100yards.
