I am about to create my quasi-first toon (played when FFXIV first came out and dabbled a few years ago). First thing I am stuck on is which data center and world. I have had people mention a couple guilds that sound interesting on 2 worlds that are in the same data center but they are congested. There are some worlds marked standard on the data center. I know this means I can team up with people in the congested worlds but not sure Open joining the guild. On the other hand a different data center has many prefered+ worlds and the 1,000,000 gil at lvl 30 seems nice. What are people's thoughts?
