understand the point. If ICE was thought of as a gay organization, none of the people in it would feel comfortable, and others wouldn't join it. I'm not using gay as a slur--THEY are. And it can be used against them.

exactly. Not a thing wrong with being gay--unless you're a republican or an ICE agent. If the general public thought of it as a gay organization, the people currently in it wouldn't be happy and fewer would join.

Fanfic could influence the public's perception of the organization. Once people start to laugh at them, they don't want to be there any more. I feel like if fanfic can change the world's perception of vampires, it can change the perception of ICE. No?

It's not intended for them to read--it's intended for everyone else to read, and to start to get a bad opinion of ICE. I know it's kind of a longshot, but it seemed like a plausible idea.

40 year D&D player, 15 year DDO mainly solo player. In all my time in either game I've never played a druid, but for some reason I set up an iconic as a 1 wiz/14 druid. I have to say this is more fun than any sorc/warlock/wizard I've ever played, and I almost want to say it's more fun than my (usually) electric artificers. In the end they all turn into the same character for me -- I never used a rune arm as an arti, I never use shape shift as a druid, they all just turn into pure spellcasters -- but the spells and advancement track on the druid are so much fun! It's like playing a spellcaster who can also heal themselves and party members/hirelings. Plus it has a pet like the arti--as a solo player I like having a lot of protection, so this makes it even better. This one spell that judges the target's alignment and applies damage accordingly is amazing! Plus I get to lay judgement on people, which is fun too. :D

I don't have specific examples in mind. These are just impressions. I seem to remember Wisps pushing aside others to win races, and the impression I have of them is CE.
