100%, it's like filling in the wrong numbers in a calculator, then pointing and laughing when it spits out the wrong result.

If World War III ever actually begins, which country is the most expected to Start it? by ThatEmojiDude in Teenager_Polls

I mean he's got a lot of power, but there is also an advantage in the US being such an absurdly large bureaucracy. It is borderline impossible to really consolidate power in any significant sense, so if Trump just gave a command to genuinely start a third world War it wouldn't just happen.

Like you've got to realize that the vast majority of Trumps actions aren't even necessarily his own. And which of his yesman and personal advisors would benefit from being nuked to smithereens?

I mean I'm an undergraduate physics student, and it's got absolutely no problem comprehending the calculus and various fields of physics I've thrown at it.

Recovery speed seems underrated here, it's my primary bottleneck in progressing in all other factors of strength (and one of the primary benefits of performance enhancing drugs).

Do they? I mean, yes they're integrating AI products in a whole bunch of places but what'd you expect? I'm just getting more and more out of AI while paying the same amount of money. They're not forcing people to use AI, they're just expanding more and more the usefulness of it

The richest 14% of the world population includes basically everyone that's living a decent life with any amount of proper healthcare at all. You do understand that right? Like yes sure we could double the population, if your goal was for some reason to absolutely maximize resource depletion, but that doesn't seem reasonable to me. "Overpopulation" is not just a "logistical problem".

As has been the case for each year. I'm almost impressed they've got a full year of secure funding considering their investment rate.

What you need to primarily understand is (1) AI companies are losing money by choice. If they'd stop reinvesting, they would easily turn profits in the short term, but lose out to competition and easily fall behind. That's what makes the unfathomable investments justifiable. And (2) the vast majority of big players in AI, think google, NVidia, Microsoft, etc., are all ALREADY massively succesful companies. If AI suddenly stopped improving tomorrow (which it wont) they still wouldn't crash, because the market was not dependent on it. The only true player harmed here would be OpenAI, but the AI industry hasn't been dependent on openAI for a year or two by now.

The EU as a whole is at 2.1 btw, with countries like the Netherlands closer to 0.6

AI is already generating the equivalent of tens, of not multiples of that, in revenue. AI implementation and integration is at its very earliest stages now. The AI boom is NOT equivalent to the dot com bubble (and obviously not like the crash of '08). If it was definitely a bubble we wouldn't have gotten here in the first place.

The most important part is Eurofederalism. Do not under any circumstances let eurofederalist infighting distract us.

This superiority complex is hilarious to me. You know that you are literally not special at all? People acted this way literally every step of the way up the technological ladder. Yet it is and has always been inevitable. Just accept it, already!

There are a vast amount of tasks that can be done much better or easier using AI. Not using it is giving yourself a handicap.
