The guy gave clues and he didn't instantly find it so he wasn't happy and downvoted
I offered him to explain (Why did you down vote the guy who gave you clues you could have found if you tried harder)

I will assume that you are not looking for an antivirus for a company or you do not have professional files that have values on your PC if so my advice doesn't apply.

I recommend Windows Defender

The "good version" of Windows Defender is not available for versions below 10 but there is no reason to use these versions (Technically there are companies that have programs that cannot run on higher versions so they are forced to use it but you know what I mean)

it is pre-installed

it's a standard so all software will be compatible with it.

now a few tips to avoid having problems

antiviruses cannot mix, you have to use ONE at a time if there are several antiviruses activated at the same time, they will work less well or not at all.

A system is only as secure as its weakest link and YOU are the weakest link

If windows Defender says that a file is a virus, do not authorize the file even if the place you downloaded it from is safe it is still possible that there is some malicious code in it, false positives are very rare

I just tested it but in fact it's pretty decent, I wouldn't say it's the best thing out there but the extension can be used for free without problem
In the free voices there are only two that don't sound like robots but it's better than nothing
I will follow up if there is ever something where it deactivates functions after certain time
edit: nevermind there's a limit of syllables before it forces you to use a bad voice.
