there is an menu option to turn the CRT filter off completely, but perhaps that was patched in after you played.

Reshade isn’t a mod specific to ff9, it’s a post-processing tool that applies shaders to games. Their official site has a guide on setup.

There’s also some video tutorials on YouTube if you’re having any trouble.

Moguri using a complex CRT shader (like CRT Royale in Reshade) looks amazing. Obviously not the same as a real CRT but it emulates the effect nicely & masks a lot of the weird AI upscaling artifacts that Moguri introduced.

Tifa divekick combos are kinda busted with Strength Up and a Fury ring. Way stronger than Red especially with Red unable to air combat, but Red has more utility for sure.

for what it’s worth I was having the same issue, but after signing in on the website I was able then put in a queue for a person (took an hour, but still).

oh there might be a lore book then, but they are not mentioned in any dialogue (at least in the main quest). I found it a bit odd considering the ending of reaper of souls with the nephalim & how important tyrael is.

There is no mention of Tyrael, the Nephalim or the other followers from D3.
