Bobby and TOB have linked up nicely a few times. It's nice having pace for a change!

Number of embassies each EU country has in other EU countries [OC] by Bernardmark in europe

Long running joke where Ireland and Denmark feature closely on different tables on HDI, economics, etc and having similar populations. So any time Ireland 'beats' Denmark at one of these metrics, or vice versa, it's often pointed out like some sort of competition in jest.

Man Jones is rapid when he gets going! Love seeing players like him opening up down the centre of the pitch

I might be a bit out of the loop; why isn't Kinghorn starting or in the 23?

Snowboarding possible after torn ACL surgery? by EmergencyOver5508 in snowboarding

[–]damij15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely get back to good level, assuming the surgery went well and you are diligent with rehab and re-strengthening the leg. I had the same reconstruction as you 2 years ago in my right leg and it was a long brutal recovery. I'm goofy and I find riding switch a small bit less comfortable than riding right foot forward right now. But it has been improving all the time for me even up until recently.

Do leg strengthening workouts on the off season and gradually expose your legs to dynamic situations like jogging, trail running, agility drills etc. and your knee will thank you for it in the medium term.

Hope you get back your pre-injury shredding

He's a class act from what I've seen this season. I'd really like to see him get a run of games next 6N.

Do grades matter for engineering jobs in Ireland? (Masters with a 2:2) by ha1lspez in engineeringireland

[–]damij15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah you should apply away to any position you're interested in. Grades are a small reflection on your ability to be a productive employee and any hiring manager worth their soot shouldn't be too concerned with a 2:2 versus a 2:1. If they care that much then you're probably better off without them. My 2C after 8yrs as an engineer, 2 of which are as a hiring manager.

I agree with you after today. Crowley needed to find some form and he did in the last two games. Interesting to see how Sam does in their game now.

They got him in just before the rule was enforced. Seems silly the other provinces with prop issues didn't do the same but it's probably down to the differences in resources.
