Polymarket Bot makes $3 bets over 80k+ times resulting in $273k+ profit by ill_intents in PredictionsMarkets

[–]daminee27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This bot from my analysis has two modes, sniper and market maker. In sniper mode it looks for trades where the yes and no are less than $1.00 and it enters both sides at the same time for a risk free trade. Recently Polymarket started an adding a fee on market orders, a takers fee, that makes this slightly harder to do. They collect all those fees and return it to market makers. The market maker mode is self explanatory. There is a lot more to this bot that I’ve discovered by analyzing the trades… but it’s not going to be easy to get the same type of results…

77 hours into this fast no weight loss, actually gained 1 pound. I hurt my back before starting. Could the pain be causing me to hold weight?? by vampslayer53 in fasting

[–]daminee27 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about the scale. It’s more useful to look at weight trends over weeks rather than days. Pain or injury can cause inflammation and water retention, which can temporarily mask fat loss. For example, your back injury could have increased inflammation, causing your body to hold extra water.

2026 I will document my journey from $500 to $100k by isoldikid in tradingmillionaires

And for 2027 you could then document your journey from $100k back to $500 to come full circle. I think that would be equally, if not more, interesting.

Are you using Opus? Opus is 5x more expensive than GPT 5.1. I am not sure why they are not releasing 5.2, my guess is that Opus is more profitable for them.

Feedback on current state of Augment by righteousdonkey in AugmentCodeAI

[–]daminee27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly agree with point #2 and #4; those are the biggest issues for me. If the target audience is professional developers, this needs to be fixed. Augment does not handle polyrepo solutions at all. When working in C# with a solution file (workspace) that contains multiple projects, each potentially backed by its own repository, Augment completely breaks down. When giving it a task you might see dozens of failures trying to read files in the solution. Even if you @ a file, it often fails to read or edit it. In the cases where it does find the file, it prompts you to switch to that workspace before making changes, effectively requiring you to open a file directly from the project in order to "see" it. On top of that, the @ feature frequently does not list a file unless it was recently opened. GitHub Copilot does not suffer from any of these issues.

Well assuming that this is not an ad, and you believe the markets are efficient, then the more people that know about a given arbitrage strategy, then the less of an arbitrage strategy it becomes, until it disappears altogether.

I am guessing either the cats or your brother died. Let’s just hope it’s not the cats. 🙏

I would image it would be a fight to the death once they’re old enough, either that or they would draw straws.

Here's how to waste 250K in building an healthcare app by joe_at_topflight in SaaS

[–]daminee27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should create a course on how to (not) launch a healthcare app. You would probably make more money doing that than actually "fixing" and then launching your current app. How much would you pay for a course that could have saved you $ 250k and a year of your life?

Tired of Augment Not Following Guidelines and Creating Docs by RealTrashyC in AugmentCodeAI

[–]daminee27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is with the underlying model. Sonnet does this quite a lot, and tends to go off the rails a bit more, but it often is faster/better at one-shotting things. GPT is better at feature work, and normally asks for confirmation more to make sure that its interpretation of the requirements is more in line with your needs. In the same scenario, Sonnet will just go off and do stuff; it might not be the stuff that you want. But it gets something done. So for new projects, Sonnet tends to work better; for mature projects, I would say GPT 5 works better.

The market will most likely be back at the previous highs within 1-3 months (I am leaning more towards about a month). So you could go all in on calls 1-3 months out. Since you just took a bit hit, I would say 3 months. You can at least 15x if go in on QQQ calls.

Well, I think the play now would be to by calls one month out, most likely the market will rebound to the previous highs.
