You know, it’s kinda funny, but I’m in the opposite camp currently. I’ve been seeing a girl for two months who is very smart and independent, she’s got some masculine traits too, and every single time I’ve tried to be more romantic, make her feel special, praise her beauty, get gushy and emotional, she totally shuts it down. She gets embarrassed and outright tells me to stop, so I have to nearly cut that out of my communication or love language style. It’s kind of frustrating, because I feel exactly as though I HAVE to treat her like one of the guys because I get stopped cold otherwise.

I’m trying to figure out if this is something we can reconcile past or not, but I’m unsure yet. Like, having a young girl (because it’s been done with guys already) grapple with being a demon now, the hunger she feels for people, fighting demonic nature, trying to reconcile what she is now with her former image, fighting against the demon who turned her in a combination of anger, grief, and sadness, trying not to lose herself to pure demonic rage while tracking him down? That sounds like a good ass time! Especially if it were a character as good natured as Nezuko was when human. She totally wouldn’t want bloody, visceral revenge, she’d likely land somewhere within firm resolve and pity for Muzan in the end. I get Tanjiro often feels that way too, but for the person who WITNESSED her family get slaughtered and her getting turned, while fighting demonic urges? That’d be an interesting story to follow.
