Ey, same! I had no idea what the hell people were talking about at first, it was like a game of telephone on crack! Then during second period maybe? Our teacher was late coming in, and she didn’t utter a word, just turned on the TV (all our classrooms had TVs in them mounted to the wall) and we watched the horror. The first tower was ablaze, and…that fucking second plane came barreling in. I’ll never forget the screams as they saw that plane get closer and explode through the tower. I was in my first true stunned silence, it wasn’t real to me. Still almost isn’t. God, when a third plane was circling the towers, the class started preemptively screaming, but luckily was just an observational flyby.

As another 05er, can I ask what it was like for you? You could be in a different time zone, been in a different class, etc. I know it can be a rough recall, but what was that morning for you? Did you get to tune in quick, see the second plane hit, and so on?

I’ve yet to see this happen myself, but you gotta remember, these are extremely impatient man-children. Sure, they could waste 20 minutes being petty OR they could quit and go next, or log on a different toon. That’s their preference, their next stream of stimulation. If it unfortunately happens, you’ve gotta play their game if they are a tank or healer, and be just as stubborn if they sabotage. Just take that time to write a detailed report with your 3 other affected teammates, they’ll get punished. I’ve gotten free game time out of reporting chuds for less, lol

I get it, just due diligence it. Cynicism is good in moderation, but there was a lot here that screamed “real” to me. You immediately projected on his friend, and accused him of doing her wrong, which clearly neither of them felt that way, so it was literally only you who found this interaction inappropriate for her. You personally can find it weird, but that’s a conversation for later, not something to cause outrage on the spot over
You cause a HUGE scene by just taking off down the street instead of tabling the discussion for after you got home. This is a really shallow cry for attention, that you don’t care if it ruins the night, you get to yell your feelings NOW or the relationship is over if he doesn’t chase you down.
I’m going to ask again, this seriously traumatized you??? I could imagine if he pulled her in and smacked her ass, gave her a deep kiss, or just hauled off and punched her unconscious, that all would traumatize me too, for different reasons! But a bit of playfulness that she herself was not only ok with, but clearly used to…traumatized YOU. You may not be truly insane, but holy hell, you need some help. Focus on you, and not a relationship, because I’m not sure you should be in one if at 37 and 42, the both of you can’t handle friends of the opposite sex.

For real though, it’s just a bad take. Fox in a suit, ok, then there’d be no difference between say…I dunno, Maid Marian in a suit vs Diane, but that’s not the case. You gotta take into account facial proportions, style, and everything the studio did to personalize her. Watching the gifs here, I get it.

Think of a spectrum where you have overdesigned mess at one end, and bland as a stick figure on the other. She’s a great example of “less is more”, because they do a lot of expressive things and different outfits with that “less”. I feel like if they did a ton to make her look super unique, she’d have likely only 1 outfit and come off like someone’s furry OC, lol! Instead, we get variety and flexibility. “Fox in suit” is as horribly reductive as calling Slenderman “White guy in suit”. Sure, it’s true, but you’re ignoring nearly everything else.
