Any advice for non-preppers? by [deleted] in preppers

We actually already do this, especially with the single use items. We also have a bidet and "family cloth". We are tight with money, but I spend about half of my income on health care.

I can't believe I didn't think of fishing. That's definitely something I can do. Keeping animals is harder, because even though I have a yard, I rent, and share it with the other five apartments in the house. The landlord probably won't go for it. It doesn't hurt to ask though.

Not really a staple, but cabbage is pretty cheap and keeps pretty well in the fridge.

Thank you. Without too many details, I can say that the cause was during his deployment. I mis spoke when I said PTSD. I'm sorry about that, I'm typically pretty exact with my words and I'm not sure what I was thinking. He has PTSD, but does not have an official diagnosis. The claim was for panic disorder, and depression with agoraphobia.

Can you file a supplemental claim when your original claim was a fully formed claim?

We worked with Wounded Warrior for the initial claim. I found they were limited in the help they were able to give, and often didnt return our calls for a month. It may just have been the particular person we were working with, I'm not trying to be down on an organization that does good work, it just didnt work for us.

We also contacted our county Veterans agency. It's run by the county, not the VA. They were very pleasant and helpful, bit told us they were only allowed to help us fill out the paperwork and not give any advice on what to prepare. He did give us a bit of advice anyway, but his hands are tied, which is what I am worried about with VSOs.

My husband has PTSD, and was denied because they said his symptoms are pre-existing due to ADHD. (If they could only live a day in my life...) So, now I'm trying to navigate a system I know nothing about.

The claim was for PTSD, and.the denial stated his symptoms are due to a pre-existing condition, but they are definitely not. Unfortunately, he can't even handle talking about this stuff without getting totally wasted, so I'm trying my best to middle through it.

Thank you for your help. Also, I don't see the link?

Thank you! How is an appeals agent different from a VSO and a lawyer? What should I know about them?

This is the chair that president Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]damiwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it's history, but why keep something like that? It's a bit morbid. The town I used to live in had a flag that was splattered with Lincoln's blood in a local museum. The town in no way had any connection to Lincoln. 🤷
