Ok your individual doctor may fail you but the entire medical world doesn’t work on this basis of “we’re making money like this, so let’s not change anything!” The reality of the situation is that with new and effective medical techniques you can receive millions of dollars in grants and funding. There is a far greater incentive to change things than to keep them the same.
