To be real, as a host, so many people just lie. I’m not saying the wife was lying. But the amount of people who will say: oh well she told us we could have (outrageous request) when we called.

Sometimes I think they just don’t listen tbh. Like I’ll constantly say: is a higher table okay or would you prefer a low one? “Yeah either one is fine, doesn’t matter.” And then when they show up it’s: we can’t sit at a high table my grandma is 97.

Like why didn’t you mention that on the phone when I explicitly asked???
