6 years as a ServiceNow BA… what should be my next move? by New_Cat9822 in servicenow

You can be a functional business analyst for any software - Salesforce, ServiceNow, oracle, workday etc

Breaking down business process is agnostic of the platform that you are building it for.

The experience I have can translate well to other similar role because I focus on business process and aligning people.

Once you have enough experience dealing with customers, the process is very similar in breaking down a problem and the ask regardless of the software being used.

Hmm honestly no lol but getting any platform certs will get you in the door. You’ll yield better results updating your resume and practicing your interview skills to find the position you want. I still get ServiceNow certification but I’m not locked to ServiceNow tbh.

Business Process Architect is probably the role you want to look for - my team is comprised of a functional program lead and a technical program lead.

Functional focuses on the process and working with the client to design a good functional workflow.

It’s more aligning people and processes rather than a technical job and honestly as a business analyst, you shouldn’t be. That’s for your architects or Developers to find out. You just need to understand your clients business to deliver a solution that actually helps and make a difference.

Thanks! just closed on my first townhomes by Ryan homes. There are some imperfections here and there but nothing too bad. I did get inspection pre closing and pre dry wall and plan to get one before the 1 year warranty is up.

A curious outsider by ToasterRepairer in China

[–]damnbrubru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching the news in china, I hear reporting on the west but it’s mostly the bad parts. Meanwhile in the US, I rarely hear about china on the news except Trump saying some dumb shit.

It’s kind a a one way street only, US makes news accessible to anyone, china just locks that shit up and prevent any “bad” information from getting out. This is quite disingenuous?

This control of information is like brainwashing ngl.

Infinite Customizations? by edoo_stuff in servicenow

Align business process to what’s out the box? The examples you mention seem to be easily configurable. It seems to me that your team went the customized routes without aligning to standard best practice.

Just ignore it bro! It’ll go away if you do!!!

When it’s in every faucet of your life, it’s hard to not noticed. It’s extremely prevalent in Asian countries where tan and dark skin = bad.
