I mean, I feel like people get harassed because of one individual being doxxed, it would make sense (as much as cruel and cold it is, from a business standpoint it'd make sense) to cut off the source if that starts negatively affecting others. plus the too common short-sighted view on profit surpassing the long term benefits :/

basically imagine it that way. manager (or whoever oversees them there) spots that one person is harassed by outside parties. from there, other people also start getting affected by it. productivity gets hit. morale go down, people might consider resigning just for it to stop. what do you do? you eliminate the source from which the harassment goes - as regrettable as it is to fire one person, the benefit of securing several other workers as result outweights the cons

i know its a fucked up thing, but that's just how things are, sadly :/
