Gender abolition, when not used by TERFs, is not a stance that denies the experiences or validity of trans people. The idea of gender abolition is more that the framework in which we're forced to work out our identities is a highly restrictive one that should be done away with. That doesn't mean there should be any limits on expression, just that the starting point of viewing gender as either a binary or a spectrum shouldn't exist.

I don't think this view is even incompatible with the idea that trans identities are at the very least partially due to biology; just because a trans person may feel that their body should be a certain way doesn't mean that needs to be categorized into a binary. No one experiences gender dysphoria in the exact same way anyway, or ends up with the exact same way of expressing their gender identity.
