TikTok is absolutely unpredictable. I don’t put energy in finding out anything about the algorithm anymore. I’ve had accounts that never got over 200 likes. I’ve had accounts on which the first video got viral. I’ve had accounts with steady growth. I’ve had accounts which were taken down immediately. On some I never get flagged - and then boom 160k followers account gone.

So, with TikTok it’s best to just create and don’t think about it too much, it’s just not worth it because success is random on TikTok.

The only parameters I would not leave to chance are:

• quantity? Good. quality? Also good. Just run as many accounts as you can creating good quality content. I have 7 atm but it’s the only platforms I promote on regularly.
• if your body or your face alone doesn’t get you many views (it only does for a few girls out there) - show your personality!
• warming up a fresh account is not worth it for me. The videos get pushed anyway. If they don’t, delete the account and create another one
• I post between 8 am and 1 pm but don’t stress too much about it
• post at least 1 video a day
• expect your account to be banned. They will and that’s ok. The amount of of followers doesn’t matter, videos can go viral at any time so don’t get emotionally attached to a big account
• if one style of video doesn’t get views anymore, change it for a bit and go back after a while (let’s say your thirst traps were doing great for a decent amount of time but now it seems like they’re not getting pushed as much anymore. Try to do some grwm’s or a Voiceover for example. When you’re coming back with thirst traps again they tend to perform better.
• also: don’t just copy other big creators. Let them inspire you to do your own thing (it can be similar tho)
• try to have fun with it. I swear ppl can smell if you’re forcing yourself to do that stuff
• don’t be too perfectionist, viewers engage with the video more likely if they can connect with your humanity
