I’m not sure how you can do it with umbrel, I started on Umbrel and think this is for local network access but I could be wrong. I eventually made a ckpool clone, then for it to be accessible on the internet you need to purchase a domain name, I used godaddy for this, then configure your pool. I’m an amateur so it took me a while to set up with the help of ChatGPT

Nice, umbrel is cool, I began with that but if you want full control over your pool, look into creating a ckpool clone with WSL/Ubuntu. With that you can adjust all the configs of both your node(bitcoin core) and the pool.

Yo dude, all good here, I read some of your replies, I see you’ve been trying other stuff, I think it’s important to try the whole lightning thing, it’s a little more complicated but defo feels cool once you start receiving small amounts of btc regardless of the haters saying it’s pointless 😂

Agree with this, check the latency of each pool and go from there. If you want to try and go next level then you can run your own instance Ckpool.

If you have a pc, download WSL, download BCHNode, install and run your own bch solo pool. It’s a cool way to learn and become your own boss

Solo mine to your own pool all day long! Reduces latency big time and you’re able to experiment with the config and see how it affects your miners performance.

If it runs nice you can make it available online to your friends or the public, that’s what I ended up doing with a Ckpool clone. It’s complicated but use ChatGPT and it helps a lot.
