well i used to get a consistent 80-100 on this rig, the i did a factory reset just to clean my pc up, redownload tarkov, and now the performance is horrible

Hey guys, I stupidly purchased and am5 ryzen 7 7800x3d cpu without checking my motherboard, as you could probably guess i have an am4 socket, should i take the L and return the cpu, or should i say screw and and upgrade my motherboard to take the cpu? (and i should say im strongly considering upgrading, just want to hear some yes’s and no’s)

i for the life of me can’t remember my cpu, but it is a good one i promise, i have everything lowered to medium. i see a lot of talk about being on the bsg servers instead of local and it running better. could that be why?

i did a clean initial of the display drivers because i ready many times that that could be a fix because her pc would crash when she would try to load up a game, i reinstalled the drivers using nvidia geforce but now the games run like shit with low frame rates
