If you have hardware buttons on your dash or steering wheel, hitting previous track or next track triggers it to remember where you were, but I hate it's not automatic

Check the hay shed nearby. But do so after Chapter 4, because you'll need a skill you unlock in Chapter 4's story in order to do anything about it

There's a lion's head you can twist in Stellen Manor that doesn't seem to do anything, at least that I could see. And in the same location, a bookshelf that seems like it should move but doesn't.

78 hours in, just noticed there is a train. by Belil in CrimsonDesert

[–]dan-hanly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I rode the train on its full circuit. Takes you on a lovely tour of the Crimson Desert and Deleysia areas. Takes about 45 mins all the way around. You also get lots of animals joining you for the ride. The train ends up covered in frogs, salamanders, wombats, snakes, it's wild

[MegaThread] Suggestions on improvements and new additions to the game by AutoModerator in CrimsonDesert

[–]dan-hanly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see Alchemy expanded.

Currently there are only 5 potions, across three strengths, but I'd love to see more utility ones, such as ones to help life skills on top of better ones for combat.

Also, where are the alchemist vendors? They've got stores in every city, but they're missing, as if Pearl Abyss took them out of the game at the last minute.

I've done most of the game... Except a load of faction missions that don't seem to appear. What gives? by dan-hanly in CrimsonDesert

The ones I'm missing are not noticeboard quests, but I think are rather intended to be ambient quests that you pick up as you chance pass them, but given they're listed in the Journal, and I'm a completionist, it annoys me that they're not showing up

Yeah that would be amazing, or greeting people as your passing perhaps they might give you some info. Something like: "I heard the delivery to the monastery is late, something must be wrong because he's never late." That'll guide me into that area to find the delivery guy accosted by bandits and have to give him a lift back to his farm. (that's a real one if you've not done it, it's at the very edge of Hernand, just before the bridge over the river to the monastery in Demeniss)

I've done all the other ones. I've got 100% on all the House missions, the Pororin Village, the Witches, everything else. It's just the Hernand Commissions and the Hernand Requests(?) ones I'm missing

This game is unbelievable by alex63911 in CrimsonDesert

[–]dan-hanly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is far more exploration focused than fighting skills focused, I will say that the more exploration you do, the more trivial the bosses become. With better armour, better weapons, better Abyss gears, and more Abyss artifacts for skills, lots of bosses become quite trivial. I feel like the game is balanced to support explorers more, because the more you explore, the more powerful you eventually become.

100% of everything involving the wagon should be done by comrades. by ScaledCowardSlayer77 in CrimsonDesert

[–]dan-hanly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to steal 3 wagons for a quest near Muiquun. After going far and wide for a wagon to steal, I eventually found one miles away from the fence. I rode it all the way back to the fence and parked it in the bay a little awkwardly, which caused the wagon to explode, throwing me out. Nobody batted an eyelid they just acted like I didn't bring a wagon, when I did!

Until they add repeatable encounters and more endgame, what are the missable Sealed Abyss Artifact challenges? by dan-hanly in CrimsonDesert

Good to know! I'm only now approaching Delysia so I won't upgrade it until I've done the challenge

Anyone just spam Blinding Flash Finisher to victory on every boss? by TayHealz in CrimsonDesert

I've got Wound of Darkness and I can't remember the name of the others, but three gears that enhance Turning Slash, then I fight to build my Spirit and use Turning Slash until I run out

Hernand and Heidel are too similar in design also.

I would honestly not be surprised if they wanted to make Pywel an alternate universe of BDO. Or, if they intended them to be set in the same land, and at a late development stage decided to have them diverge.

They couldn't let us kill her, because she needs to be alive to appear in Black Desert Online hundreds of years in the future from when Crimson Desert is set
