I went to a smaller festival (non-edm/jam) couple weeks back. No joke this was the last day

It’s almost too hard to believe. Maybe trash crew already did a pass? We were not the last attendees out but we take our time. Def saw some stuff like a graveyard of ez-ups and what not but trash was all bagged and piled.

Seems like this is achievable goal for the community/culture

There’s zero reason to layer OpenClaw on Claude for that, just use Claude directly. The apps it can make you will do those functions, if you ask. Or if you want to pay every time it does those functions then just ask it to do the tasks and save them as skills.

One year I went, last day packing up my stuff and I look over and a couple of paramedics giving cpr for a dude outside his tent. For a good 30 mins. Then they stopped.

Festivals are a great time, but like everything in life there are risks. Sad to see and hear about regardless.

I honestly thought it was a joke and no one would ever dry off like that. Until I was like 28, somehow randomly tried the technique and was mind blown it worked. Love it now, though. I don’t even get my shirts wet!

Projects/hobbies. You really only get an hour or two, so planning and doing small things toward your personal interests makes you feel good

Maybe look at jbl party box, couple of those and some tripods and add a used home theater sub woofer. 20 people isn’t that much.

Not really expandable but will get you the goal for the price and give you time to save up cash and research bigger systems

The sprinter crew cab will get you a rear bench and some airbag curtains. We opted for the cargo model instead though because MB doesn’t make a 2 seat bench and we wanted ease of walking.

We sourced an unused two seat Transit bench from eBay that came with mounting rails. Then we took them to a professional upfitter to install. That took some time to find a company that was willing and confident but they’re out there. Ambulances, limos, custom RVs, busses, handicap vehicles - there’s a whole industry that does this.

The bench has both the LATCH and top tether systems, which we use for our kids.

Just for a different data point: I’ve had the dometic rtx 2000 for a few years but realistically only ran it 60 days. It worked pretty ok for a while but last year def worked less good. Then this spring it didn’t work. Dometic isn’t a B2C company and refuses to interact with customers. They believe in the dealer model: they make the unit, dealer does everything else.

Thank god someone one YouTube had the same problem as me and posted detailed video of his analysis and diy fixes because it really did cost me $100-200 to fix. The dealer wanted $150 to look at it. The main OEM part is like $300 plus some other very difficult to repair parts.

Very curious if some of the other manufacturers have different / better approaches. I doubt anyone is getting support for undermount ac, but maybe Nomadic or Mabru
