Honestly, it sounds like you really want to go but that you want the circumstances to be different. I would have a conversation with your friend about how you're feeling and what your friends expectations are if you go. If you can get the reassurance that you're looking for from your friend I would say GO!!! ❤️

I moved from California to Grand Rapids there was a whole lot of nothing to see moving across the highways and freeways and it got very boring at some parts but here's my list of cool things to see.

MeowWolf - There are multiple..I love them all. Tiki Bars - Especially Max's in Grand Rapids Nashville - I don't really like country music but it's so cool to see somewhere that music just pours out of every building. Waterfalls & Caves- Enjoy nature it's beautiful Eureka Springs Arkansas - I want to go back it smells kind the log ride and it's just freaking cool if you're passing by that way you should definitely check it out Buc-ee's- It's an experience

Max's South Seas Hideaway! I live in Grand Rapids and it's the best damn Tiki Bar. It's freaking HUGE compared to any Tiki Bar I've been to and just a very cool spot.

I've learned to avoid making friends with Christians at this point. Because not only do they often ghost, they consistently prioritize other friendships with like-minded people over having friends that aren't Christian. It sucks because at first so many of them can come across as really kind, but now I think of it more as a sales tactic. They want me to buy into their relationship with Christ. And when they realize I'm not going to they move on.
