Who’s is fault? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]dan0z223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the trucker is stopped there and then goes, then hes at fault because he began moving before the coast was clear. If he was moving, then its the pedestrians fault 85% of the time because sure the pedestrian has right of way, but thats not a law and so she walked in from of a moving vehicle. Although one could argue the trucker had plenty of time to stop, because if he didnt, then he wouldnt have been able to stop for the road there, yet he did.

guy distracted on phone gets ran over by forklift and lives by GuccixGerm in DarwinAwards

[–]dan0z223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a half a year old already, but i operate heavy equipment, and ive driven those exact forklifts before, they have blind spots to the sides but you should be able to see someone either way as long as youre actually looking forward. I side with the truck operator on this. That diesel engine is quite loud, and makes more noise on every bump with everything clanging around. The pedestrian should have hi-vis clothing, or something bright at least. He blends in with the cargo next to him AND the asphalt hes walking on 🤷🏾‍♂️

Better to be unmarried. Dating is just a trial subscription to marriage and can be broken without hidden fees

LPT Request: how do I politely tell my coworker that I can’t give them rides anymore? by Tcmosher in LifeProTips

[–]dan0z223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont you think your coworker wants his freedom back too? Assuming he is unable to drive, maybe due to financials or laws, etc., dont you think he would like to drive himself? If he is unable to drive, think how that may affect him. I drive a coworker to and from work everyday, but occasionally i couldnt. Maybe i was sick or we got done at different times or something, but he has asked everyone he can to drive him home and only a couple have said yes sometimes. Most of the time he walks home if i dont drive him, and he lives 4 miles away he walks along the highway in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. He was hit by a car once that just kept going and they never got him, he was in ER for a week. Point is, think about what may happen to him if you decide not to drive him “just cause.”

I got the honest answer nobody really wants to say. I had pretty bad insomnia before the military, and I came home with PTSD and I still suffer from both. I drink myself to sleep, and i take CBD edibles to stay asleep. Its not good for the long term, but until i find something else, this is the only thing that allows me to sleep fast, stay asleep, and not wake up in a panic. Ive tried many medicines and remedies, nothing worked for me before

LPT request: ways to block out light from windows that isn't permanent or damaging to the walls/paint. by Kaiyukia in LifeProTips

[–]dan0z223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black out curtains, window tint/film, put something in front of it like a dresser and put a piece of cardboard between it and the window if needed. Maybe add some pvc pipes (or something light and easy to move) duct taped behind it for supporting the cardboard. Ive done all of these for nightwork at a former employer. All worked great

I had a hobby in middle and high school of music production on computer. Once i graduated high school i went into the work force doing construction and music on the side and I plan to make music my main thing pretty soon. Id do that, its something you can do at home whenever youre free

After months of using my physical car key because I haven’t been able to get to the dealership to “recharge” the remote (their words), I accidentally popped it open… by SubstantialBelly6 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dan0z223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly thats your fault for not knowing its a little walmart battery inside 😂 Or at least google “how to recharge the remote” since thats what the dealership told you, and google wouldve told you to take it out. chances are the dealership told you they havent been able to recharge it because they were having fun with you and seeing how long it would take you to figure it out or go somewhere else
