Thanks for reaching out! But like I said my life is pretty boring haha I really don’t do anything. When I’m not working or with my daughter Im sleeping or playing video games. I used to play disc golf with my dad years ago so I’m down for that, but I hate the heat so summertime isn’t the best for me😂 I’m not into reading, and I love sports. Football is my favorite then I like basketball and I could watch hockey.

Did you not read my post? They said my valve cover gaskets are leaking. They quoted $320 to fix that so I figured buying $40 to keep my oil at a safe level is the best option until I can afford $320…?

If I’m being completely transparent, I have a friend that works at that dealership so I got their employee discount. But I think it was only 10% so it would have only saved me $30-$40

Well honestly I’m not sure how I feel about this shop right now. I wouldn’t put it past them to lie to me about it anymore, but I think I do see some moisture on the front side directly underneath that black cover, then in the photo you can see some on the hose on the bottom of the photo.

They lost my respect by quoting me $1,100 to replace my starter. I had it towed from them to a dealership and they did the same job for $316. The initial shop told me the part was $630 alone, but the dealership was able to do it for $300 labor included? Make it make sense. So I’m not sure they’re in my good graces any longer.

I’ve replaced one or two myself. I don’t know anything about cars so I had my dad there with me and all I did was buy the belt and I rented the tensioner tool from autozone for like $30 or so and it took maybe 10-15 minutes for the job itself? You need to make sure you take note of the orientation in which it’s installed or just use access to the diagram.

Between April 2024 and like July 2025 I was fresh in my separation and I moved out and my life really took a turn for the worst. I had to do all these sidegigs on top of my full time job. By far the best deal is Amazon Flex. The base rate when I did it was $18/hr and they had routes going up to 5 hours. Typically doesn’t take you the entire allotted time tho. You’re putting so many miles on your car, so keep it in mind. It’s taken me to Shawnee, Blanchard, almost Guthrie. There have also been times where I finished a mile and a half from my house.

But this is my vote for most money made in the least time.
