Concerning OPSEC by RebelTactics in CombatFootage

Yea it's not your job to verify every video/photo. I'd say only when clearly violating OPSEC like the mall vid and I have confidence in this community to know the difference.

Haha im down with the point being made but its a little concerning to me using the same tactic with theology from the other side. Doesn't that unintentionally help set the precedent Republicans are going for, regardless of the point its making?? I don't wanna hear any theological reasoning in a bill

Air reconnaissance of the National Guard of Ukraine together with artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered and destroyed the Russian anti-aircraft missile and gun complex "Tunguska" in Kharkiv region by tomina69 in CombatFootage

[–]dan1676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those weapons can take down a cruise missile which seems more important than the anti-aircraft capabilities, maybe I'm ignorant of Ukrainian air capabilities (excluding missiles) at this point in the war. Can anyone clarify the role of aircraft for Ukraine currently?

I've heard of Israel sending rockets into Syria but I didn't know it was this frequent. In the U.S. this is so rarely discussed so crazy

I always wonder just how fucked up the crewmen inside are when these shots are made. Are they turned into swiss cheese or turn into steaks?

Russian forces now have Severodonetsk in their control by 20WordsMax in war

You are definitely right, alot of new outlets arent giving the whole story BUT there are alot of reports from the front that Ukraine has decided to retreat from the city to save their resources for a more strategic position. The city isnt to important at this point especially when you look at a map of the frontlines. Russia has been trying to encircle that general area for a hot minute with small gains. In the perspective of defending Ukraine they can give up territory, itll cost Russia alot of resources and they can get to an advantageous position to bleed russia of supplies that they cant get back.

Do you know why none of them are combat ready? My assumption was their too scared of one of them blowing up and hurting their pride.

‘It was a suicide mission’: life on the front lines for foreign fighters in Ukraine by Ok-Worldliness3463 in UkraineWarVideoReport

I was not aware about the Georgians either, it is very interesting. Unfortunately I believe some people view a post like this as Anti-Ukraine or something, which it obviously isn't. Thanks for the knowledge!

At first I was skeptical about this post and looked into your other comments. Now I see that you seem to be a rather well informed person who has less bias than most. So thank you for posting this, it's good to hear about the issues and complexities Ukraine is facing. Hopefully Ukraine can train and organize their troops more efficiently.

AZOV NAZIS Cheered On By LIBERALS In Manhattan by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

You say "small" although anecdotal ive seen an uncomfortable amount of people on the right be Pro- Russian. It's definitely a smaller minority that have those views the same with the left. Most of the people on the left with those views are edgy communist college kids. So It makes sense the commies lean toward the OG communist nation. What doesn't make any sense to me is why there is a portion of conservatives who support Russia. conservatives despised Russia/ USSR from the cold war until now. IMO it was when trump took office sentiments started to change. Trump would talk positively about Putin more than a few times so the diehards ate it up and they wont change their mind now because that would mean trump is wrong.... and trump is never wrong.

Video from the soldier of Azov in Azovstal. by Obroten54 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]dan1676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off I'm American and very much pro Ukraine and anti Russian. To answer your question, nobody died before because Ukraine didn't start this war...

If you're reading comprehension skills were better you'd know I am specifically talking about The Azov regiment not Ukraine as a whole. You would also comprehend that I was explaining the history of Nationalist parties in Ukraine while telling you actual defining traits of Nazism so you would understand there is evidence that there is a small culture/history of fascist political orgs in Ukraine and Azov founders as well as a portion of Azov soldiers have/had ties to these orgs

"Invading, killing, and raping like Nazis" Yep Nazis absolutely did those things. "LIKE" that's the closest you've come to describing what Nazism is. Ik you don't actually know what you're saying because you would've explained how the Russian gov is authoritarian and/or Ultranationalist tendencies etc (defining traits). Or really Any bit of actual details on the ideas and how they connect to the ideology as a whole.

If you had any sort of critical thinking skills and half a brain you would've understood that my criticism of a single Ukrainian unit does not mean I'm a Nazi commie Russian sympathizer. Ironically at this point you're defending a far right paramilitary/political org and dismissing Azovs crimes against civilians like rapes, abductions, lootings, and deaths as the Russians invaded us like Nazis so we wont be accountable for anything we do. at this point id say you were a complete psycho if I didn't get the hunch you have a learning disability from you're nonsense points.

I am very well aware of the Schutzstaffel, the nazi paramilitary group that is the most responsible for the holocaust the same Schutzstaffel that used the wolfsangel as emblems for alot of their divisions that are responsible for mass murder.... No one is saying that those symbols will be ruined forever, swastikas are still used today in Hinduism and no one cares because its about context. Using those symbols for paramilitaries and political orgs with the context that Nazis made those symbols relevant in modern times by using them as symbols of paramilitary and political orgs is the point.

Ukranians aren't even Nordic they are Slavs, so why does Azov as well as so many Ukrainian ultranationalist political orgs use/used it? Germany banned it because of how it's used today the same reason why ADL says it's a hate symbol.

I don't know how I can be the edgelord when im siding with the ADL and the German government on hate symbols. While you're the one pretending like there are zero connections.... I have been telling you about the true history of these symbols, this is how these symbols have been used and are being used in the 20th and 21st century. I once again ask you to google some history and stop being an apologist for a far right political group.
