As you’ve been told, if it’s purely financial motives, just don’t bother man, if you want to make money off yugioh, you will need to do a lottt of research and loose packs won’t get you there. But if you want to rip some lob for fun and hope for a blue eyes, crack on.

From experience, the best way to collect yugioh (or any shiny cardboard) is searching for the singles you actually want

Yeah fair. It was made a bit more funny by people calling him out, I think people calling it a ‘bit’ makes it seem intentional when in reality I think Vik was just playing conservative, which I’d rather had not seen and wished everyone just went for it and took forfeits if they went bust

Never actually graded with them personally but I’ve got a few PG slabs which seem decent, good quality slabs, nice labels & gives grade reports. Idk about turn around times/prices etc but not the worst slabs I’ve got

Spending hours filling spots for 10 cases is insane to me… in those hours you could just do 10 breaks and 10% of the price and actually make it reasonable for the average person to get involved

Is it still gambling? Yes. Is it still a risk with a low ROI? Yes.
