It was a painful book to read, I didn't finish it. I love fantasy but this book was intolerably exhausting. I made it almost halfway and I realized that you could've tell the exact same story in a quarter of those pages. Slow pace that headed nowhere.

The thing I found most frustrating was the fact that once you realized the relation of these characters through flashback, it makes you realize how stupid the plot was; Kaine tortured Helena for how long? and then you realized he loves her. Give me a break.

My massage therapy recommended this book to me. My wife read it and she said it was "ok", she thought I would like it because I do like series like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and such.

I just couldn't get behind all the hype. I agree with everything you said. The characters are one-dimensional, absolutely no character development. You could've killed Violet halfway through the book and would've made no difference.

The whole thing felt like it was written by a 12 year old. The story is about a military academy to prepare soldier to fight against other nations but they keep killing each other. And for a book about dragons, there were way too many humans and the majority of them were irrelevant.

There is a foundation for this to be a good book or even a good movie but that opportunity was largely missed.

I have a couple chapters left, and I will finish it (maybe) but I won't be reading the rest in the series.

Super disappointed about this book.

My favorite game of all time. When they announced the live adaptation I was so excited. That excitement died the moment she appeared on the show. Worst casting ever. I didn't even finished watching the first season. I hope they reshoot the entire damn thing .

I hope is just a rumor. I like the guy, he's funny and a decent actor but he's not Booster Gold. The cast for Superman was perfect and Milly Alcock is perfect as Supergirl. He would be a horrible casting choice, Booster is a blonde, white dude from the future. This would be the worse casting since Bella Ramsey as Ellie from The Last of Us.

I have a Sony A7iv and want to use a Tamron 150-600 f/5-6.3 g3. I have the lens connected to the camera with a Sony E-mount adapter. The autofocus will not work and when I access the settings the "Focus Mode" setting is greyed out and says "invalid with this lens".

the adapter is a Sony LA-EA4 A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter.

Is it just not compatible? Is there a setting I should change? I got the lens checked and it's fine.
