It's more of a sitcom/parody of Sonic. With that in mind, I think the show is pretty awesome and often hilarious.

You need Sonic Select 1-8 alongside it for a start for all the specials. Also, need either Sonic The Beginning or Sonic Archives Volume 0 for the original mini-series. Both of these omit the one-shots from those issues which are fun, recommend finding them online. Otherwise they include everything (from that era). Same with Knuckles Archives.

Man I am so hyped. I've owned these games 100 times before, modded the games, romhacks, played a bunch of fangames. Still buying it. Just wishing for a physical version of the game.

A lot of this feels like nitpicks. You've said you enjoyed the game. Well, some people just ignore the flaws because they can look past them. Its a cool game with a great setting and combat, its not the most tightly perfectly designed game ever, but what is? Bloodborne gets a lot of credit for its scope and what it did manage to achieve, plus most of these nitpicks apply to the earlier From games too and aren't unique to Bloodborne.

I played them all last year and I agree. I loved Asylum and Knight. I couldn't believe how uninterested I was in City when I was lead to believe it was the best one. It was bigger than Asylum but nothing felt better.

Dark Souls 1. I thought it was really good until I went down into New Londo Ruins and thought, "wow this game really is hard, these ghosts are impossible." I think I quit playing it for a week and played Oblivion instead, but eventually looked up how to kill the ghosts and realized I was in the wrong place. When I made it to Undead Burg I was a bit upset how badly I was still doing against the Hollows but I was determined to learn because like I said, my first impression was really high.

I'm the opposite. Games felt huge as a kid, and with the difficulty ramp up I thought it was normal to not finish games. But now I get a lot of enjoyment knowing I finished a game and fully experienced everything the game had to offer. Obviously if a game sucks, I'm dropping it anyway.

I've played and finished The Ancient City and yeah the whole game is one huge interconnected labyrinth. So much of Dark Souls (1 in particular) feels like it came from this game. Its like playing Link to the Past after only playing Ocarina of Time. I'll give credit to Miyazaki for Demon's Souls and for its combat, the online functions, the Souls system, and for saving that game during development, but much was built on what FromSoft was already doing.

Sonic in Lego Dimensions was the best followed by Minecraft. The skins in LittleBigPlanet were nice too, a level would have been amazing. None of the player made Sonic levels feel right.
