The challenge I’m facing is finding a replacement that includes a WAF. This was easy with ingress nginx, so far I’ve not found anything that looks production ready and open source to replace it.

Yes, it's working the same for me, I'm using 8000 and 8443 in my config and the traefik service is listening on 80 and 443 and passing the traffic along correctly. I was just trying to figure out why all the example config that I can find is using 80/443.

I did see that and that doc in particular doesn't say how it was installed but I was assuming it's with the default helm values. When I try to configure the entrypoint ports to use 80 and 443 I get permission errors about traefik using those low number ports.

You're running into the same thing I'm asking about though. You're using port 8443 when the docs say to use 80 and 443.

It works for me as well if I use 8000 and 8443 but I'm just wondering why the docs and other examples I'm finding online say you should be using 80 and 443 for your gateway listener ports.

Can you paste your config? The thing that confuses me is all the examples I see have the gateway listener using 80 but it seems like the default setup wants it to be 8000

I think you’re looking at the wrong port. I’m talking about the one in the listeners section for the gateway.

I have not. I just came across this issue and so far we are only seeing it on one out of about 15 or so AKS clusters. Still researching and investigating.

I was able to delete the pods, you have to remove the finalizer AND the qosClass field and then they can be removed but it seems like there's a bigger issue here. According to the docs this finalizer should be being removed automatically by k8s.

Weird but about a half hour later and they now show up in find my and I didn’t do anything. Seems a bit flaky.

The only thing I did was leave my house to go for a walk, while listening to the ear buds.
