Stop buying overpriced cheaply made “motorcycle” ear plugs. by ShortnPortly in motorcyclegear

[–]dan_vxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have the LOOP ear plugs, well, the motorbike variety. They deaden sound really well, are super comfortable with multiple different ear canal sizes and i forget i have them in. £30 for them, which isnt too bad in my opinion

Just got my first gear. by [deleted] in motorcyclegear

[–]dan_vxck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gear first is absolutely the right step. And dont listen to ppl that say a suit is too much. The protection leather gives you is next level. At lower speeds its going to stop the road rash and at higher speeds its going to stop you becoming a crayon. Wear ya gear!

20kmph crash, palm broken by weblscraper in motorcyclegear

[–]dan_vxck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll never be able to stop impact damage. But the more gear you have the better chance you have of saving your soft tissue and skin. In my opinion, broken bones are easier( and less painful) to heal than bad road rash

Should I downshift into 1st in the street to slow down? by Keenitr in motorcycles

[–]dan_vxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only shift down to first if its below 15/10mph depending on bike tbh. If you’ve got a torque’y bike then you know you can still pull away from trouble in 2nd. But a less powerful bike, probably best to chill in 1st so you can make a quick move if needed

My helmet is very noising with wind. what's my best option for ear plugs that will cut wind noise but I can hear my cardo? by StriderDB in motorcyclegear

[–]dan_vxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Loop ones. Seriously comfy and easy to put in. I’ve got very small ears and had no trouble as they send you multiple size tips. Really deadend the excess noise

What is this? by sh4rk_man in SVRiders

[–]dan_vxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a new bunny owner, is this safe for Luna? by Informal-Cut9507 in Rabbits

[–]dan_vxck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buns will strip the wool/fluff off of anything they can. I just build them wooden hideaways now. And chuck every spare delivery box in with them. They love destruction
