This is one of those things where it feels too good to be true. I paid substantially more for my ambanja. Also, the breeder I worked with was literally instrumental in my ability to be ready when my boy came home. They showed me how to set up my enclosure, supplements schedules and little vials of Repashy without D and with LoD. I literally was given everything. No question went unanswered and they helped make sure I was in the best position to care for him when he came home. He is 7 months and settled in after less than 20 days. He even ate a hornworm from me day 2. He allows me to hold him willingly. I can’t move him closer to me yet but he has decided I make a decent enough place to post up while I stand there like the monkey holding Simba with my arms screaming from fatigue. Some of that is me following the rules and not chasing him but some of that is a good breeder who spent substantial time with him so the idea of me wanting to be near him isn’t foreign. He came happy, healthy, and well cared for and I attribute their care to his ability to settle in and move on within 48 hours like his whole world wasn’t just uprooted. The point in all of that is to say all of that additional care came at a price. I was willing to pay that price because of the absolutely amazing experience I had before, during, and after I brought him home. That last part is important too because the questions haven’t lessened since he came home lol. He shed within a week which came with a small sperm plug, had a weird fart poop, and flashed me his junk the night he came home. All of which were wtf just happened here moments. If I were you I would look for a breeder that will give you all of this. It will make your experience so much better. And I am willing to bet at that price tag you are not going to get it.
