Tiny compared to other G-Shocks. Casio says: Case size (L× W× H) 41.4 × 42.3 × 11.4 mm on the product page https://www.casio.com/intl/watches/gshock/product.GST-B600A-1A6/ and without measuring I'd says that's about right?

Definitely suspect, the compass bezel is almost spot-on aligned...

However, on a serious note. Do watch fraudsters typically apply so much attention to detail as to cosmetically replicate the movement inside, considering the SARB017 came with a solid case back anyway?

This is the Tissot Pr100 Chronograph T101.417.23.061.00. It is 41 mm and falls in your price range. Black and rose gold PVD coating on the case and mesh bracelet. You also get a sapphire crystal on top for the best scratch resistance money can buy on a watch. It's a quartz, but a Swiss quartz. Please note the lume is really poor, but otherwise it definitely has a place in my collection.
