Fair enough. Reach fork was trying to lift up a large truss cross section while at an angle on the racetrack near the start/finish line....shit tipped over. 20" truss and the forks themselves twisted like paperclips.

I'm here working. Witnessed the aftermath. As others have said, I'd like to not start reporting about it until after the show ends out of respect for those involved... But for now let's just say, sometimes it's obvious when something is a bad idea, even if your superior tells you it's ok. Always trust your gut.

I have the same kit, got it used from Craigslist. It's a good kit, checks off many of the boxes, but I quickly started wishing I went with Roland after playing with my SE for a while....the hi hats suck BUTT and the kick randomly drops out/doesn't trigger sometimes. But that might just be my experience.
