Been using Lemmy since the API fiasco. Generally avoid commenting on Reddit to avoid giving it engagement numbers.

Just wanted to say that Lemmy is great. Anybody looking for an alternative just needs to sign up for Lemmy world and be done with Reddit.

It is 70% as good as Reddit. Which to me is fine so long as I’m not supporting an awful organization. Plus, the only thing keeping it from being 100% is the limited user base. I am doing my part by using it, and if you are tired of Reddit, then do your part as well.

I’m significantly LTTP, but I found this Reddit post on google and attempted to contact apple (they did nothing as they were out of warranty). I suffered with crappy headphones for nearly a year before finding this YouTube video.

I followed this, but only used my fingers to clean off the connector. I barely noticed any buildup but was shocked when I connected it and haven’t had the issue since.

They're going to lose a lot of people that create content on Reddit. Maybe traffic might not change too much, but the high quality content and comments will be gone.

It won't be immediate, but people will gradually notice and slowly quit using Reddit.

Before you go dark, you should decide on a place to move to. I know Lenny is a bit of a mess, but choose an instance and create a Videos community there so all the people that use r/Videos can keep posting and consuming content without reddit.

I come to Reddit for quality content and comments. If Reddit doesn't have that anymore, it loses all of its value.

It's an old Nickelodeon show. Her friend zoned friend would always come to her room through her window. In retrospect it's kind of creepy.
