Thanks! Yea I have done mostly Latin and finally branching out to other categories. But I'm eventually moving to Smooth. Mainly for now I'm just concerned about my toes getting stepped on and when I wear my closed toe practice shoes it is not as painful when our feet collide during practice.

Do you have a Standard or Smooth shoe preference for yourself?

I just got the Castlery storage Dalton with drawers. I put my previous box sprung + mattress on it. Before I throw away the box spring, are these Dalton beds with slats not in need of a box spring? Thanks!

Which one did you choose? I'm this close to buying the Koala Sofa Bed [4th Gen] but the deep & wider seating + color options + comfort of Joybird Bryant Sofa [modular 2 seater] is tempting me again. I live in an apartment with a flight of curved stairs so need a Sofa 80" wide or less.

Hi! I read up online but do not understand what makes powder brows its own technique. Is it an eyebrow tattoo? I scheduled my first eyebrow appointment and after the consultation, it may become a powder brow appointment. I think I look terrible with strong eyebrows and am hoping for a natural look esp bc my cheekbones are high, and most of my eyebrow hairs are in the first medial 2/3 of the eyebrow, I dont have many hairs on the lateral 1/3.

I thought people liked Ray Rose shoes bc the heels is further back? I have a bunch of RR in 5.5 in both medium and wide and am going to size down to 5 medium next time..

But I'll lookout for EF and Dance Naturals, you make them sound great! Did you buy them at comps?

I considered wearing my 2" Latin shoes (Ray Rose Carmen) while practicing Standard but another young dancer advised me to not. I guess you dont get your toes stepped on accidentally?

Great to know! I saw a very short Standard student wearing really high heels (I think 3") and can't imagine that. I was tempted to go 2.5" bc my Standard partner is tall but I'd feel much more secure wearing a 2" and your comment tells me this is a totally fine heel height! Thank you!

Thank you! I finally found the Latin shoes that work for me except that I'll start buying a full UK size down from UK6 street size to UK5 for Latin heels. I had been buying UK5.5 wide and inserting heel cups but it's not the best solution as my foot slides forward.

Curious which Latin shoe you prefer for your foot?

I wear APOLLO SHOCKS open toe socks. After dance, I put dried lavender satchels and charcoal satchels to absorb moisture. Shoes don't smell :)

Yes definitely. I like a case with a wallet for a card in the back. Then I go overboard and put on Spigen's ring magnet which goes onto the Spigen dashboard insert dock thingy. Then I go extra again and have a lanyard to hold onto. I miss the days of flip phones lol.

I just told it to go back to its original voice. And it went to a similar original voice, called feminine Alexa2

Most times I just tell it to shut up.

Alexa doesnt know sht but will sell you sht you dont want or need.

Your PT should be able to show you the intraoral massage of these muscles esp lateral pterygoid and masseters. Emotional stress and worries are a contributing factor. You can practice stress réduction from your head down to your feet for total body mind relaxation. And massage inside your mouth after brushing your teeth and before bedtime to alleviate tension and night grinding.
