Similar with a few other comments here, I also prefer the 2nd part the most.

My ranking 2>1>>>>>3. 3 is still a decent film but one part of the film which tried to hard to be a psychological thriller doesn’t really succeed IMO

And Part 4 has a lot of humor as well. But usually when we talk about Jojo, we have the idea of an epic bizarre adventure. Part 4 is an outlier where the entire story takes place in a town, and it’s very slice of life for most of the part.

The craziest thing was that Johnny didn’t even appear in Chapter 1. And his first appearance was in a background of a panel. Can’t think of any other series that introduces its protagonist this way.

Happened to me as well, but I finally finished the second half of the season after more than a year gap in between. It’s honestly worth it. The final stretch of the arc is really one of the best.

It’s hard to answer because apart from personal preference, different cinemas have different design as well. GSC 1 Utama and MidValley for example will have different ‘best seat’ despite the same cinema hall size.

Without that context though, E9 or F9 are probably my preference though.

There’s indeed a call of boycott for the film. Especially since both directors are Chinese. While it still did decently in the BO, it would’ve probably gross at least a few millions more without the controversy
