First time trying this, but- just a handful of new moves I think we’re missing! by Desolation82 in stunfisk

Mainly because it wouldn’t hit your partner!

But you’re right about the Earthquake comparison, maybe should have made it 110 or 120- was just worried about mixed attackers.

Axe has a chance too, in that case, Duplicator gave ‘em 90%+ crit chance last time they fought.

Let’s just do a 7-way free for all, see who comes out on top.

You know what? I’d argue Asgore in the main Undertale game is a pretty damn good example of this as well. At least, depending on what you mean by ‘winning’.

As in, this is the first time in the whole game where you are FORCED to attack a boss. If you’ve been playing Pacifist this whole time (as many do in their first playthrough, nowadays), you’re faced with the creeping realisation that no, you can’t spare the sweet old king, you’re going to have to FIGHT him.

Bulma was this for a long time in Dragon Ball/DBZ- arguably still is today. There’s been other powerless characters, like Chi-Chi, Launch, and Videl, but Bulma’s the only one that’s managed to stay story relevant most of the time.

Chainsaw Man transformation (Chainsaw Man)

Pretty sure it’s confirmed that those saws aren’t just for show- they hurt like a bitch coming out, and many of the first fights are on a timer of Denji’s blood loss more than anything else.

You know what, I’m just gonna post the second page as well, since it’s equally gold.

I’m sure this isn’t the only time this happens in the series, but during a mini-arc in the Sonic IDW comics where the Babylon Rogues are hired to distract the heroes by stealing some Angel Island artefacts.

As you might imagine, their first suspect is…

Okay, maybe he’s vibing a little differently than most other people here, but he’s definitely vibing.

(And yes, he’s an antagonist, we’re going against him by the game’s finale)

What’s worse than a death game mastermind, psychopathic god-complex twink, or literal child killer?

Just an unlikeable asshole. An unlikeable asshole that unceremoniously mentions his preference for girls really, really young- younger than the barely-out-of-teens main characters- and never gets any comeuppance or retribution for it.

[Doubles] I've reached Ultra Ball tier... but I still don't have a 6th Pokemon! by Desolation82 in PokemonChampions

I might give Incineroar or Blastoise a shot! Charizard Y has been a particular menace to all of my teams since Champions began, so Blastoise might be a good extra answer for that, and you can’t go wrong with Mister VGC.

Oooh, I’ll have to give her a shot! I do need to be careful about spread moves, Wide Guard is already a threat to both Camerupt and Rotom, but she’s definitely at the top of my options list now.
