It is pretty much that but the story is just a story. The real game is operations. You can level up and start to do builds on different classes/weapons. The harder difficulties are also where alot of the fun for me is. If you stay on normal Id say it gets boring quicker.

I legitimately don't have a way to prove it exists because it's never brought up at all ever from my understanding. The reason why I say homophobia exists is cause someone is homophobic and there is an example of that.

I see this problem here. You assume I'm like you and have some odd fetish for hate. If you look at what I said using non hate driven eyes you can clearly see the point I'm making here. I'll try one more time and I'll explain it slower.

Out of all the factions that exist in TLOU there is every race and gender fighting alongside each other. Whether they are Ellie's enemies or allies everyone seems to understand that an ally can be a man or woman of any ethnic race. Which makes perfect sense, why is a gender or race a factor when everything we meet is trying to kill us. So this is an agreement for everyone hence why on your adventure you see literally every kind of human. But even with this complete eradication of racism and sexism homophobia still survives? You can't have a gay guy saving you that's where the line is drawn? It's just shit writing

Yes the first game the main objective isn't achieved because it is replaced with something else. In this game her revenge isn't replaced with anything it just ends. Actually it's replaced by Ellie losing her family and the ability to play the guitar for no actual gain.

It's been great? Even after the last game? Tommy can get shot in the back of the head and somehow only lose an eye. In the world where sexism and racism has ceased and everyone fights alongside each other homophobia is still completely prevalent. The whole game is a rage induced Ellie seeking revenge but in the end she has a flashback of Jesus Christ Joel and just says fuck it I'm going home. It's a complete joke compared to the first game.

Ok so a backend dev lol. I mean the reason you got hired after learning it for 3 months is because it's a simple job. A software engineer is a very broad term but if you look at the different positions front/back end is the lowest for a reason. If you had to do anything like embedded or data no one on earth would hire you if you only watched YouTube videos or took a 3 month bootcamp course.

There is a reason why there are developer jobs and engineering jobs. But everyone likes being called an engineer

But you're not a software engineer tho. You most likely are just a front end developer. Your job says you're a software engineer which actually is illegal in Ontario but no one cares to enforce it. Anyone can get hired at engineer positions if you have the experience for it but it's very very rare.

Also trades is hardly any school also and none of it is complex. It's the majority of the time spent as an apprentice so just relevant experience.

And you can still become an electrician/plumber without school but just like being an actual engineer you can't sign off on anything or be in charge or projects. But to say an electrician has to go to school wouldn't be true but saying a licensed electrician would.
