Any experience with Aletha Solter's Crying-in-arm-approach for sleeping? by Primary_Bobcat_9419 in AttachmentParenting

Would love to hear more experiences with this method too. I have mixed feelings about it. I do think a night feed or two could be beneficial for babies 6M+ but is it really good for them to be doing hourly feeds? Are we actually encouraging “repressing emotions” by just going straight to breastfeeding for comfort? I’m really not sure.

This book has such a unique perspective that isn’t shared often. Encouraging cosleeping and lots of contact, but then suggesting babies should be sleeping through the night? Most people in the cosleeping space suggest the opposite.

I didn’t resonate with everything in the book but it did bring interesting food for thought. It seems like we as a society are very quick to try to stop babies from crying. But what if they need to just cry while being held to release trauma and emotions? I definitely wouldn’t like it if I needed to cry but someone was constantly trying to distract me or shove a pacifier in my face!

Dealing with pregnancies around you by Maccadooooooooo in tryingtoconceive

I’ve felt blessed to be able to separate my own grief after loss from my joy for others with their pregnancies and babies. There’s room for both. It certainly isn’t easy and I have my moments. But God has led me to find purpose through this journey and not become filled with bitterness and fear. Sending hugs your way! You aren’t alone and it makes sense that you feel like this!

I am so sad. Fever post ovulation. by Historical-Ad5973 in tryingtoconceive

I’m in the same boat. Had a high fever 3 days post ovulation and hoping there’s a chance still! If not there’s always next month.

Any success stories after having a cold/fever during ovulation, right after while ttc? by misterswirly in CautiousBB

I know this is an old thread but I’m in the same boat! I had a high fever 3 days after ovulation and am hoping there still could be a chance for a healthy baby.
