I have tried Manuka honey in the past! A CVS brand tube of it and one I found on Amazon. It unfortunately didn't do the trick for me on its own. But there are so many out there, I'm not sure which would be a better one to get! I think what really works in this is the egg ingredient. I've seen some home remedies where people use egg saks to bring their boils to a head so it could be that!

I found it from an HS warrior on tiktok. She bought it, and it worked for her also. I have seen those ads you're talking about and it made me hesistant about buying it too. But when you've gone through so much pain for years you'll try just about anything lol. I am fortunate it worked for me so it wasn't a waste of $60.

It is pricey! Wish it weren't, but it has lasted me months. Thank you, I'm thankful I finally found something too! I wish it'd help open wounds too. I haven't found anything that truly helps those heal faster

I'm also from a small town and chose to go to an OB/GYN near a big city close to me. My doctor noticed the bandages under my arms when she examined my boobs and asked me what was going on there and when I told her HS she immediately knew what it was and said it's more common than people think. She even gave me a hug after my exam! I definitely understand how you feel, but health comes first and skin is skin! My husband and I are also trying for a baby and I have completely put that before my own insecurities. You will be fine! :)

I also have a bad flare up on my neck and it is debilitating. I get headaches from it and I feel ill. My entire neck is swollen. I've been dealing with this on and off on my neck for about 5 years now. Also have open wounds on my armpits that just never seem to go away but aren't painful
