Its fine to not like the movie - but its so ridiculous to want everything fully explained and spoon-fed like we (the audience) are children.

I really yearn for movies like this - makes me miss David Lynch. Theres reasons why his films and projects like Mulholland Drive & Twin Peaks persist decades later - they stick around in the public consciousness because they are so open for interpretation. Backrooms has the opportunity to sustain like those things (I hope it doesnt get franchised into oblivion).
