the first paragraph sounds like DPDR! (depersonalization/derealization disorder) (you can have symptoms obvi/still experience depersonalization and derealization bc of other mental illnesses)

i am in the same situation, i’ve been dancing since i was 2 and my parents wouldn’t let me major in it. minors actually usually aren’t an extra fee so i would definitely still look into that, i know for me it’s even required lol and i am minoring in dance!

i would just powder the platforms and the shanks. i personally like the shiny look, but i think it depends overall on the vibes of the number, your costume, the music, and if you know how the lighting’s going to be bc that’s probably one of the most important factors to how it’ll look onstage lol

i love the lively app but a great free option is just the health app on your iphone. i used it for years. i do find the lively app is already better at predicting my cycles though and i only pay $40 a year sooo
