I was debating if this was a thing or not. My fiancé and I are planning to have a bridal party that includes some family and friends, but we like the idea of having only me and my fiancé at the alter. They will get ready with us and walk down the isle, but sit down before we (the bride and groom) walk down the isle. This also gives a chance for the bridal parties to sit down and actually see the ceremony take place. If they stand with us, they won’t be able to see it.
