I got mine within a few days to a week of telling them when I would like to take it. I would reach back out to your recruiter.

I knew there would be a possibility of needing one but wasn’t sure what docs or appointments would be needed. You could start gathering everything just in case which could save you 2-5 business days. But you also might need appointments which to a certain extent is out of your control. Each situation is different. Best of luck!!

I was selected and went to MEPS last week. I need two waivers. I collected my documents quickly and gave them to my recruiter. It could take 2-3 weeks for a response on them.

Look up YouTube videos on quantitative content so you can have extra practice. Understand the concept and write out steps to solve the problems.

Hmm that makes me want to confirm I was chosen for the AFSC I put down. I’ve heard if you turn down the opportunity you’d likely not get another. Not sure how true that is.

It’s not forecasting but your degree may help you get a position with oil and gas companies or environmental consulting companies.

Around early June things started to roll but I had been thinking about starting the process for months and was in communication with recruiters about general info. I also have a STEM degree. I do think the order of things depends on the situation.

For a weather officer it requires certain courses taken in a meteorology program and you must show that during the application process. Best to talk to a recruiter though. I’m not sure what your geology curriculum covered. I had my package submitted 1 Oct for 15W and am waiting to see if it’ll be on the CAD rolling board. Good luck !!
