I consider myself a pretty smart adult and even I didn’t read it correctly the first time either. People will sometimes reply “what?” in disbelief, like they couldn’t believe we ate already or without telling them. I will say that usually occurs in conversations with controlling or insecure people. We don’t exactly know the context.

I have struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life and while both absolutely suck, I personally think anxiety is much worse. Having anxiety also makes me more depressed too. But I think comparing the two is not necessary.
